Setting a Basic Foundation

These luxury homes included a standard wiring foundation for security, connectivity, and entertainment. Though most clients don't care if they have a wireless or wired version of these, they care that it works consistently. Our hardwired solutions will perform better and longer than their wireless counterparts.

Each home has a fully wired security system with a video doorbell and pre-wires for future home automation ecosystems. We also included cable-proof wires for outdoor cameras and a PoE foundation to add cameras and touchpads down the line as part of this security-focused pre-wire. 

Networks are as vital as electricity in a modern smart home which is why each property is fully pre-wired for a future network, including 5 WAP locations spread throughout the house. Dedicated entertainment areas and bedrooms also include basic infrastructure for connectivity. Three rooms come with audio pre-wires as well.

How does this baseline technology create a greater return on investment for home builders? We meet with the homeowners during the project to talk about the package that comes with the home. We set expectations and, just as importantly, guide them on possible upgrades that make sense on a case-by-case basis.
